Find Used Parts: Terms Of Use

  • Breakersweb offers a used part finding service for cars,commercial vehicles and Motorbikes making partnership with a network of over three hundred reputed dismantlers in Britain
  • Breakers will send part prices on goods that are held in stock. Prices will be sent to the central computer and directly to the customer instantly via text messaging and landlines.
  • All prices are V.A.T included.
  • Parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of "Satisfactory Quality" unless specified at the time of sale.
  • Invoice will be sent with goods by the supplier who supplies the part(s).
  • Changes in delivery times will be notified to the customer immediately.
  • Parts are warrantied for number of days specified on the supplier invoice, from the date delivered.
  • Any alteration or modification of the parts in any form without firstly informing the supplier will make the warranty null and void.
  • Part(s) supplied and proved to be incorrect or faulty upon fitting, the supplier must be notified within 48 hours. Parts can be sent to the supplier, provided another part cannot be located and a full refund will be offered
  • Part(s) ordered and cancelled before being dispatched, a cancellation fee of no more than 10% of the total purchase cost will be charged by the supplier to cover administration costs and charges.
  • Parts(s) that are dispatched and no longer wanted, the supplier will charge an administration/handling charge. An amount to 20% of the original total order cost or the carrier/carriage costs to and from the customer (whichever is the greater). These charges are to cover postage and packaging/order processing costs.
  • Refunds will only be made once the goods have been returned to the providing supplier..
  • All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt/cambelt/chain and filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.
  • Vehicle mileages are not guaranteed to be correct.
  • Gearboxes must be filled with new oil and checked by customers upon installation.
  • Customers take full responsibility for glass parts which are sent by the majority of courier companies. Refunds or compensation for breakage's are not possible in any form.
  • we do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties
  • Please check all goods before signing for the courier, especially body parts. Refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit. All courierís will need a signature from the customer for goods that are to be delivered. Goods which have not been signed for on request will be returned to main depot of the courier. Suppliers will not be held responsible for the refund of goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for as in good condition.
  • Breakersweb cannot be held responsible for loss of earnings,hardship or any other financial claim for damages through the use of service.
  • Breakersweb reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions if required.
  • This Terms and conditions shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with English Law.
